Opinion About English for IT

Assalamualaikum.. First of all I would like to give my opinion about this English for IT course that I take this semester. I found that this course is really that great for all of IT student to participate, because it really helpful to develop our communication skills and the way we interact with each other and even useful to prepare ourself to meet the communication challenge when we going to start working and start our career, because of we are in a field of IT, most of us didn't really have good communication skills especially an oral communication skill, compared to the skills that we involved with in IT field.

For me, effective communication skill is really important because for someone with such skill they can easily communicate and deliver information even better with each other. This is actually will help us get more opportunities to get hired in better position, because communication is one of the most important aspect in business.

There are many way for us to improve our communication skills. As for me, instead of reading book that filled with so many words that always makes me feel dizzy after reading a few sentence, I prefer to watch an English movie, sitcoms, talk show and even listening to English songs. It really help us to learn and understand even better how to pronounce and use the right word in a right sentence. As for oral communication, personally, it a bit hard for me to improve because of the environment that we live in didn't really need or make me use English as communication language. So I really appreciate the effort that our lecturer had force us to speak English in our class. It help us to bring out our confident in each of every class.

I think his course is really going to help me, for now and even in a future. It helps prepared yourself to overcome the challenge up ahead that waiting when we're going to involve in business or working under a company, because when we have effective communication skills, we will easily being notice and can make us stand out even more so we'll get even more possibilities to get promoted as well as being respected from others.

The latest assignment for this semester. Although I don't really like to write, especially through this public blog, all I can do is trying to do the best to pass this subject.
